that is so tradgic she was a good actress, just the other day i watch that movie" waking up in reno" with she and billy bob thorton, and patrick swayze, and i was thinking my god swayze is gone now and this movie was one of the best comedy"s ever done but it wont feel right now. and now she is gone too. i will never enjoy that movie again. R.I.P. swayze, Richardson
This story shows why socialized medicine totally sucks.
The Quebec hospital totally failed to see that she obviously had a brain injury - all that would have been needed to be done was to shine a light into her eyes and look for reactions, and then order other tests to confirm it.
If they had done these things, the pressure inside her skull could have been quickly relieved with either drugs or surgery, and she would probably be alive and healthy right now instead of going brain dead.
She was skiing on a bunny hill first off, and lots of skiers find it unnecessary to ride with a helmet. So I, personally, don't think it was whether or not she wore a helmet, though it probably could have prevented it, it was all just a terrible accident that could have happened to anyone
you guys talking about helmets, just stop. we all have to die some day and when it is your time to go its time and no helmet in the world is going to stop that . that being said r.i.p. natasha.
According to what I have discerned, Princess Grace and Princess Diana were riding in cars WITHOUT wearing seat betls. Miss Richardson was skiing without wearing her helmet.
Fuck, this could have been prevented. If she hadn't gone skiing in ze first place then this would not have happened. Its all God's fault,as it always is.
Actually no. It could have been prevented if she wore a ski helmet, but she didn't and just when you think accident won´t happen, they do. It's clear to me that when it's time to go, it's time to go.... RIP
this is a devastating loss a true unforeseeable tragedy my deepest condolences go her heartbroken family obviously to her husband and two sons and especially to her mother because no parent should taken part in burring there child i hope ms Redgrave can find some peace in but she is in haven now with her father and I'm sure hes taking care of her Natasha will be missed and not soon forgotten.
Ive had a relative die of a brain injury, it is a very painful situation for the family of the victim. Its shocking, devestating, and there is never any closure to be had. I am so sorry for her husband, children and mother. RIP Natasha.
she kinda looks like lada gaga with out all of gagas make up and what not.

f she would've worn her helmet and other protective gear, none of this would've happened. How tragic! I feel sorry for her husband and her family.

The lesson is WEAR YOUR HELMET when you go skiing.

absolutely right!

Even before it became law, I made it my business to ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS wear my seat belt when I was riding in a car or a taxicab.
Chances are you see a lot of people biking, scootering, and rollerblading without wearing helmets. This is absolutely risky.
RIP, Miss Richardson.
