I watched this again and compliment you on producing a different kind of film to the usual short on events like this. I loved the absence of the usual 'talking heads', where the puffed-up and pompous often insert themselves. I learned a lot, and will consider being there next year. I can feel the wind whistling around that empty landscape.

Now, how about a film on Gralton?

Explain, was this part of the orgination of the IRA?

In 1916 Ireland was still under the rule of the British Empire. Mc Diarmada and others such as Pearse and Connolly decided that the only way to oust them was through a military uprising. This right to bear arms against occupying forces in Ireland was the basis for the IRA's subsequent military campaign from the 1950's to present day in Northern Ireland which is still under British rule.
