This is the only version I have heard that is played like the original- I didn't realize that individual primary and secondary strings were picked, as opposed to playing both at the same time, which still sounds fine as long as you are hitting the right notes- but this sounds exactly right- very "harpsichord"-ish

Very nice! Did you notice that your strings are not equally spaced on your G pair and high E pair? I recently bought an Alvarez AJ-60SC/12 and when re-stringing it discovered that I had to manually position the strings across the saddle. There are no grooves to guide them.

Your playing is awesome nonetheless!! Just an observation.

Been playing now about 35 years.............and yes, I'd say it took about 20 years for me to master the instrument to the degree where I was comfortable with it..........some people can do it in a lot less than that though!

I had that one on here too at one point...........until "Cass Country Music" asked me to kindly remove it as it was breaching their "copyright". All guitars are built with "magic" in them.......the "trick" is being able to pull it out!......It's only taken me 30 years or so to learn how to do it, some people can do it in a lot less......This is played purely acoustically and recorded on my digital camera, nothing more. Apart from the fact that I spent a good few years searching for a 12 string with this particular tone there is nothing else added. Thanks for your kind comment.

You know what, I was ready to give you a proper slating because obviously "I know what I'm playing!".....but then I checked the annotations on the video and yes, you're right!, it did say "B min 7"......I cant imagine how I missed that because on it's sister video (Chords) it states B7, as it should.

That's not STRICTLY true............there a notes in this piece that are particular to those 12 strings.............if you try to play this on a 6 string then those notes will be missing and "conspicuous by their absence"
