This video is so much fun that I wanted to find out more about Hello Bluebird. Here's what I found. The song was written in part by Cliff Friend, a Cincinnati (where I live) songwriter. He also had a part in another tin pan ally standard, Lovesick Blues. Ironically, Lovesick Blues became a country and western mainstay when Hank Williams recorded it, in Cincinnati of all places.
