  • Wait, it just hit me! Isn't this what Veruca Salt wore in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory?

  • @SgtTravisBickle something like this. Very good

  • @SgtTravisBickle I just remembered she wore that, but flat black shoes. One of the sences that she filmed was on her birthday in 1970.

  • This tune is so COOL. :-)

  • Naughty naughty...this is why us kids loved to see this show: LEGS!!

  • "Charley" is Barbara Miller. She was also the first premier episode "Holley" in the first segment of "land of the lost". Her sisters Cheryl and Andrea were also on television on the 'Bugaloos" and "Magic Mongo" episodes. Their parents live in Rubidoux California. In the mud sixties they were very show business oriented. I dated Andre for about a year, she has some difficulty with life now because of the influences of the Hollywood lifestyle of her youth.

  • @dynagravitomagnetic I am very sorry to hear that. I wish her well.

  • @pictureisup1 I heard from Cheryl last year, she said Barbara had finally left her husband Butch in the lake Perris CA area. She is said to be doing okay. There were many different girls who would interview, fit, rehearse, and dance. Only a few had their names listed. The parent's pocketbook and political savvy had a lot to do with this. The rigors and discipline placed on these young people can cause real trauma. She had said at one time if she had a choice about it, she would not have done it.

  • @dynagravitomagnetic I hope so. I am in the business too. I am an actor. I know that it the lifestyle can be hard on people.

  • @pictureisup1 Andrea was fun to be around most of the time. She had run away from home at about fourteen, and fell in with some rap-star dope dealer for about a year or so. When I met her she was about twenty four or so. She would act like a spoiled brat at times, and throw violent tantrums if she did not get her way once in a while. You probably know about how the parents of child-actors often use threats and bribes to control their progenies.

  • Why don't more girls dress like that nowadays?

  • @J14ngL00 Why don't they dance like that nowadays. Why don't they have music like this nowadays too?

  • I was like 9 or 10 when we used to watch this. I had the hots for "Charlie"... (aka the Sour Grape Girls). I thought they were sooo naughty. Just like Nam at the time; "Charlie" was the enemy I guess.
