I'm a Taiwanese and also know a group of my friends from Sin. Actually, their accent, in my opinion, been affected by multiple languages, and plus, when you had chance to experience how you change your language channels from one language to another in your brain which's not easy, unless you pay attention to the certain accent on certain word, or else, you will understand how busy your brain work when it processes more then three languages at the same time. I think that Singaporeans actually speak proper English. We speak Singlish when it is a casual conversation between our family members and friends. So please stop making a fuss out of how Singaporeans speak. @HeAiNtMaN Actually, I personally feel that generally, Singaporean's command of English language is better than those from other Asian countries. The video about the lady parking her car is famous simply because us Singaporeans are also poking fun at the language used ourselves.
