Whatever happened to the sound on this YT upload it has, in the loud, higher notes really been degraded compared to the CD. It's not my speakers because I listen to the CD with the same speakers. That said I still watch this over and over (and I'm not fond of Hamlet) because hearing her and seeing her just overwhelms me with her incredible artistry.

Muy instructivo video, gracias. Demuestra que el arte no es sólo aptitud sino también trabajo duro. Da gusto ver la concentración con que cada uno cumple su parte y da lo mejor de sí. What??? You can't compare these great artists, because Callas only sang Opehelie's mad scene only in concert and in the studio, while Natalie Dessay also performed this aria on the operatic stage and has another approach to this role and music. Dessay and Callas ggave us magnificent interpretations of this aria!!!!
