They were in business for over 75 years, until the union broke the business by getting too greedy... all the grocery stores that were associated with the warehouse were union, also. There's a point when the union needs to stop the greediness, or else, the business will go under. Unions have gone too far in Wisconsin, and Gov. Walker is trying to fix it, before it's too late. Perhaps if these teachers weren't forced to pay union dues out of their salary, they could then afford to be like normal people and pay for their own (or a portion thereof) health insurance and retirement? It's a valid question. If these teachers receive more pay as a result of these protests, do they in turn agree to render a higher quality of instruction? What the children are learning in Wisconsin right now is a lesson in US history, Democracy, the right to Assemble, and how the political system works, this is a much better lesson, than one taught in any classroom.
