  • You got it wrong at the end, YOU'RE awesome!

  • Nice thanks for helping

  • I am a self taught drummer atleast until now, and i think this was one of the beats i first learned, watching these videos are very helpful, cant get on the drums yet but when i can im going to use all these new techniques i learned :D although reteaching myself some new tricks is gonna be a pain in the ass

  • pretty awsome church music!

  • This is by far the most annoying beat ever. It was the first drum beat I ever recognized. Second drum beat I ever learned. Everyone played it, ALL through middle school. I mean, I'm sure it's not annoying to the rest of you, but this beat, for me... Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. .-.

  • I LOVE YOUR TUTORIALS. This was my second beat.

  • what a stoner... i bet his roomate wears an elephant^^

  • You are a good teacher, first you know what you talkin about, and second, you encourage. Keep it up Tigger!..

  • your bass sounds good

    is it micked?

    btw great drumlesson !

  • This man is officially a gift from god, keep up the good work in that church!

    I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS

  • I first want to say thanks for the lessons. I have been playing for a week and have nearly cracked this break beat groove, I think the fact your dressed as tigger helps. peace

  • Thats hard :P I havent find a teacher yet, and learning my self :P i guess thats why, well i want to learn some basic stuff right now, and then when i have been find a good teacher then it would be more easyer do deal with it or something ... Lmfao :D

  • dude, it would be awsome if you could write out the beat. Thanks

  • your actually sick im a noob at drumming but ill just go hard

    keep the easy ones

    im christian also

  • the most common stick size used is 5a

  • whats a good size drumstick to use for metal drumming

  • i use 5A but find what you like not what other ppl like

  • depends on what youre goin to drum, i use 2 pairs of drum sticks. 7a and 5b

  • try a little heavier stick, so they don't break. I drum hard rock, some metal and hardcore and 7a's broke a lot. 7b or 5a is good.

  • im christian

    and i like death metal

    =]

  • Good for you? I'm an Atheist and I sometimes listen to Spice Girls. I'm sure we have a Buddhist who listens to world music somewhere here.

  • I'm a Zoroastrian who listens to Earth, Wind and Fire but I agree with siddacious who cares about the relationship between preferred music and ones religion they are unrelated (unless they are intentionally integrated like Christian rock hmm I wonder if there is Muslim rap but thats not the point) try to keep the conversation relevant to the video itself, there is probably a forum about Christian death metal that would love your imput.

  • church? r u christian? or else wat do u believe in?

  • Why does it matter?

  • im christian n i jyst felt like knowin

  • tell everybody that u kno

  • Im Christian, and proud of it!! and yes IM GOING TO TELL THE WHOLE WORLD!

  • @superjules i like this brother you are a vary good teacher. please continue doing this please

  • I'm trying this today! Now that i got my brand new td-3, i can play whenever I feel like :D

    Your lessons are great

  • for some reason, for evryone this is the forst beat they play, probably because you aren't hitting more thn one thing as much as other beats, not much coordination needed.

  • Thought about do stick spinning and bouncing stuff like bouncing the stick over ur fingers or doing that thing where you hold it differently. I forget what its called. With your left hand and use ur fingers to bounce it fast. I am learning that but it would be a good video. even just a small one :)

Keep up the awesome work :D

  • I want that tigger suit:P

  • hey dude i was wondering if you could teach us something to impress people not too hard but not too easy something with a challenge and will help us for the future?

  • I'll see what I can do!

  • thanks man... I made this video for beginner drummers... these videos are diverse... so I try to cover a broad crowd.

  • This is a fucking nice beat.

But i think it's so fucking hard to get the bass drum together with the snare and high hat but thx spikey!

  • thanks man, I'm glad you like the drum beat!

  • i reckon once you've learned this beat a lot of stuff is much easier. Plus it's such a good solid groove

  • it does open up a new world with hand-work on the drums.

  • this is my natural groove man. it's so wierd to hear someone else play it. lol

  • well, this is actually a really common groove, so don't worry... I didn't steal your style, I promise!
