i planted a few seeds this summer just for kicks, a couple died and 2 went male so i was left with 2 BEAUTIFUL females, unknown strains although one was a really light green and the other was a dark green with hints of red in the leavs and dark purple in the buds. some gooch rippe dthe top off the dark one and tried to get the light one but couldnt rip it off.. forced me to harvest early, it tastes young, it looks young.. it smells fine.. gets you high.. dissapointing none the less

Sorry for my bad English, im Dutch.

I think because the plants are CUTS FROM ANOTHER PLANT. And they need energy to grow and they don't have many roots. If they cut the tops of the leaves the leaf is going to die and the food what's in that leave is going to the new leaves and roots.

it looks as if he used clones, you nip the tips of the leavs off so that the cutting puts more emphasis on developing a good root system instead of a great big broad leaf.

clip the leaves down nice and small so sun light can get to the whole plant if u have large fan leaves it blocks the sun and the bottom half of ur plant will basicly just die off

no it wont, ive had fat plants, they just.. hardly grow anymore.

The top gets bushy, bottem stays the same, just tie it to the branches the leaves, so bottem gets light, dont harm the plant by cutting it.

Stunts growth, and shocks the plant.

Nice of you to notice..the weather here sucks most of the time so clipping them right, moving em around and letting them bloom before nature lets them will help get you those buds for sure! And you are right bout the strain...NL-X (northern lights x haze)

yep...i usually start around April 15 and they go into flowerfase around August 15..then of course the bloomingfase..6-8-10-12 or even 14 -16 weeks, mine were done in about 9 weeks somewhere in Octobre but sativa's need untill decemeber at least and thats not that easy here in Holland.Thanks >>>Your welcome anytime! it looks like you clipped off the ends of the young plants. ive never seen that done. what is the purpose?

When making clones you clip the end of the leaves so they can focus their energy on rooting instead of growing so it helps them to root faster.

It's not nessesery; this year i did experiment with cloning. It even works when you take a clipping of a plant and stick it in the ground. Ik u use the powder for cloning a clipping will have decent roots within a week
