Sambora doesnt play that riff any good. Other guitar parts on that song, like the solo, are more than OK. But the riff - terrible. You dont have to agree.

I have seen it many times and it only backs up my opinion. To his defence: Richie began playing with a slide around 94-95 when they recorded These Days.

I would agree, however it was only a while before I switched from preferring Richies solo to Jeffs-probably to personal pref as to why I like old Bon Jovi-I was there for those Wembley gigs on all three nights and he almost set the front rows alight lol.

Man, and have you seen the Blaze of glory performance at Central Park'08?? Didn't you like him there either? To me there he is perfect with the slide: showing skill, talent and good taste (moreover he is on fie at the solo). And you can't compare an acoustic performance like this one to an electric one.
