I think that one of the major reasons that racism is sustained in the US can be blamed on the media. I think that one of the major reasons that racism is sustained in the US can be blamed on the media. The media plays subtle tone of racism that may not be apparent,but by playing it constantly in subtle way, people are slowly cooked by it. Racism is a dispicable form of human existance, and yet it is hard to be given up. I sincerly hope that my kids don't hit the racism especially the high degree ones in their lives. Yeah, the whites from hundreds of years ago. I am disapointed that my ancestors may have done that, but I didn't, and I don't think that America is that bad. It used to suck, but in my lifetime I haven't seen much racisim. It will always exist, but I don't think it is anywhere close as bad as it was before my lifetime, so I guess it is steadily getting better. Only the rationals really keep it alive.

these people stand up for the young people who are giving so much for there country in the toughest test to the free world since the 60,s and with the british servicemen do so much for us all . ed london england

I celebrated the eve of millenium only in the hope that the world would be more peaceful,specifically that US would be rid of its racism. But US is very slow in changing long after..many people are still ill conceited with no regard for fairness in human relationship. America can NEVER be looking beautiful with the sea of racism.
