why does every one of my m8's say that this car can blow away any ford imo yes it can (maybe not the f6) but think about it this way ford could build a 7L engine as well they have a 5.4L that is putting out 450kw (2012 Shelby gt350 mustang) so it only what 20kw's less then this car imo ford build's tougher engines so until GM match that i will all ways see ford been the most dominate car

The car replaced the Horse... and so it should be in horsepower.... I mean... I'd like to think i have the power of 160 horses underneath my hood... not a metal block that'll power 2000 60 watt bulbs.

I prefer SI units, they make more sense, are easily calculated, and for the life of me I have no concept of what a furlong is (how long is your fur?). And whose "yard" are we talking about. Silly system, although it does grate me that the metric system is French.

UK version has Jeremy, Hammond and May. Nothing can beat that!

you put massive fuc*k off wheels on the car your increasing the distance the wheel has to travel to do a full revolution, this effects the overall gearing of the car, making the gears longer. Bogging it down on the slower corners and also not as snappy under brakes as there having to do alot more work getting hotter etc etc. A more effect way to get more grip is to increase the width of the tires, because you only have around and inch or two of the actual rubber in contact with the road.

Higher profile tires do give more grip but this slows steering response, lower profile tires give less grip but increase steering response. However its not somutch about the tires as it is about the wheels, larger wheels are generally heavier and therefore create a greater unsprung mass. This cripples steering response, braking and even acceleration. When it comes to performance Bigass wheels are a no no!

@WindingMaster correct and incorrect, steering response less sure but the grip is more important because your not adding that much rubber and your reducing the wieght therefore your better off going the 20's instead of the 22's
