@jamieseiple How the hell is this stupid and shallow? I mean really, how? Tim Rice-Oxley is amazing at creating lyrics that have many many different meanings that are certainly not "shallow".

For example, my own interpretation of the lines "Eyes of cloud and feet of lead, find a shore that needs you instead" would be that you're always set on fantasy and dreams and they seem so far away and unattainable, but you can't stretch out and grab them because you're stuck in life and you just can't get

I love this song, and all of their other songs too. At the moment I feel this speaking out to me and I cannot possibly see how you can find it "stupid and shallow". It may be about a boy who has moved away, or about Tom, but to me it is something entirely different and perfect.
