Thank you for introducing me to the Petrali. I've been an organist for many years and Petrali is a composer with whom I had been unfamiliar. I just purchased this piece and some others of his from the Organ Historical Society. It is a joy to play this wonderful music! And it is a joy to listen to you play it!
i am from Crema, petrali's home, and i heard much of is music.....i could suggest you that the second theme has to be more like a "circus song".......how can i explain.....more "silly"......but you're good
Hi Joe, I thoroughly enjoy your organ videos. You are a very accomplished organist with a wide ranging repertoire. Also your postings have very clear video and excellent audio considering we're watching on Youtube. Might I ask what camera make and model you are using as I am looking to purchase a video/camcorder in the near future. Thanking you in advance and also for sharing your awesome talent. Roy
Joe you have talent! I have watched all your videos and I am impressed with your gift of music as well as your love of organ. Best wishes in your organ studies. Also, this was an interesting piece of music. Bravo!

not at all. its just a crummy camera and the console is 20' from the pipes so it sounds kinda funny. Its a 64 rank Casavant, all pipe, opus 3756

i think he only need a bit of rubato in opera style for second theme, and a soft reed in the left hand for accompagnamento, in Serassi style
