Their is rarely any female in any type of video game or anime that doesnt shed some type of extreme sex appeal to the opposite sex...or if your a female into females it would also appeal...i guess.

She's often often considered only useful because of that. Statistically, Mai is better as a pilot and for 70% of people end up with her in SRX the whole time. The only reason Rai doesn't get the same treatment is because his evade is stupidly high.
