All guinea pigs, male or female, behave like this when first introduced. When I first seperate the male babies from their dam, I put them with their dad, untill they are old enough to go to new homes, he always checks them out like that. But never put 2 intact males together, because they will fight, they will not get along like this, unless they have been together since very young and there are no females nearby.
