  • Great light smoke nose with fruit, sweet and fruit on first tast...I find my mouth to be watering before that first sip...it's absolutely wonderful. It's afordable too, I'm finding it for around $20 from my local bottlery. Thank you for the video sir.

  • Nice tasting my friend !.

  • I am very new to whisky tasting, however i recommend researching and buying whiskys that are extreme in there own right. For example find a whisky that is excessively peatie, then you will know what peet smells and tastes like. Atleast you then know what peat tastes like. You will then be able to pick up notes of peet in other less obvious bottles. Just a suggestion. thanx... This advice is obviously only for people that are very new to tasting whisky.

  • Ithink it is a intresting point of view.

  • A little too sherry tasting to me. I prefer whisky to taste like whisky not wine

  • ive just started getting into whiskeys. i find that the highland park 12 yr is ok. Its a bit strong for me but has an exquisite smell. Great for its value!!!

  • It can definitely be difficult to identify flavors and aromas in a complex whisky, however I like your visualization method very much. (good suggestion) I think it should be pointed out that analyzing whisky is a skill that takes full concentration and quite a bit of practice as well. And yes, you're absolutely correct, Highland Park 12 is a great starter whisky, and a dram I will always enjoy greatly.
