Descent Soundtrack - Level 2

Holy s**t! I didn't even know about the playstation version. Often booted this game on my PC just to listen the sweet soundtrack. Is the music as CD-audio on psx disc? eBay here I come again... :)

@MrSefe yeah, just keep the lid open to allow the menu come up, click media player thing and close lid with descent in it. The track numbers should appear.

This music causes me to shout "I WANT DESCENT BACK!!!"

@seraphs123 me too, i used to listen to game cd soundtracks like this, tribes, quake 2, command and conquer... they all eventually got me into industrial, ebm, rhythmic noise... ahh the memories.

for everyone interested in downloading the PS version, google "galbadia hotel" and go to the Mp3 section. Music from Descent 1, 2, 3, and basically any other game you've ever heard of.

It's interesting, because the only version of Descent I ever played was a computer version, but it was on a Mac and it had this soundtrack.

@StereoInvasion The PS and Mac versions both had this soundtrack, but they came out later than the original PC version, so the soundtrack was based in MIDI form for DOS and Win PCs.

haha love this game! but for some reasson the level 6 boss was wayyyyy samrter and harder to beat than the one for the playstation. love this hsiit!

A somewhat silly question, but was this version of the music on the Anniversary Edition of the game? Because I could have sworn this was the version of the music I played it to, not the 'original' music.

The musics play in a different order in the playstation version, this was used for the first level there, while Level 2's was from the PC level 18.

Just to clarify, it wasn't done in MIDI format, it was actually FM synthesis tracker files (mod).
