Actually as I understand what Alan is expressing is that the terms that describe two different ASPECTS of THE WORD that do agree and are of One Spirit.
You spoke of the three that bear record in heaven are ONE, also recall the three that bear witness on earth: The Spirit, Water, and The Blood are also ONE.
1. As John explains in 1 John, without the Word who became Flesh nothing which is made was created. In other words everything was created by the Word. So the Word that God "spoke" in Genesis chapter 1 is Jesus Christ. Through Jesus all this were created. The Word (Jesus) speaks to us via the Holy Spirit the words of God and so inspired the authors of Holy Scripture. (See next)
Just to make sure everyone understands, I am **not** saying that there are "two Words" of Abba Father ... not by *any* stretch of the imagination.
