The search footage and news alert should have been used in this film. It could have set the pace of the film. Instead it looked like a fast made for video release. It get's 2 and 1/2 stars. They should have put the same effort in the movie as they did in hyping it. The movie was not bad. It was not too good either.

@Phantanos In my opinion thanks to the good direction of director Mike Mitchell Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 Chipwrecked is a surprisingly improved fun, hysterical and energtic sequel thats a lot better than the decent but ultimately disappointing squeakquel.

I agree with you that the search footage and news alert should have been used in this movie.

I give Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 Chipwrecked 4 out of 5 stars.

@Hectorferjr2 Picture a scene, where Theodore facing down a real jungle Monster,(A Tarantula), after it tries to dine on Eleanor. He could have overcome his fear and earned his on screen kiss. Alvin rescuing Brittany from a huge bird on the beach. This could have shown everyone, that he cares for her. It still could have been PG for all the right reasons.Chipmunk Adventure films, have to have some personal danger to them.
