Russert is a cheapshot Republican. If his question had been serious he would have followed up with a serious Q asking what Dennis saw? "UFO" means "unidentified"; it does not mean "spaceship." Richardson's state NM has a UFO museum which he supports for the turism dollars. Why didn't Russert ask about that? Cause he wants to create false images to sell commercials.

See my other comment on this. Russert deserves to be taken off all future debaes for his cheapshot Republican tactics. What is a "UFO"? It is an "unidentified" object. Astronauts, civilian & military aircraft pilots, policemen, etc. have reported seeing UFO's. A serious conversation about UFOs is possible but Russert was not interested in that.

I don't give a shit about the technical terms of what a UFO is, it's irrelevant information when he's supposed to be talking about important issues. He should have had the brains to know making that public record would be misconstrued and used against him. Obviously you did not see how this was brought up in the debate ... Russert brought up something that Shirley McClaine wrote in a book, that Dennis has witnessed a UFO while staying with her at her home in Washington (decades ago), then he asked Dennis if that was true ... at which Dennis clarified his response and pointed out the fact that 24% of Americans have also witnessed UFOs, which is more people than those who currently support Bush!!
