Thanks Mr. Hansen! I'm going to assume these videos are made for kids in grade school, while I'm actually an individual in my 20's in college. I'm in intermediate algebra (never excelled in math)and my teacher goes way too fast, probably thinking we catch on quick, being in college....not the case with me. I find your videos very helpful for filling in the blanks my teacher left me with.

Actually, teacher's aren't at fault here. It's just that online learning is the way to go. The videos are constant and you can replay them to absorb in their understanding of this problem. However, teachers' explanations change as they try to clarify the problem by making the explanations simpler for you each time, and tends to be confusing.

@scarpassword1429 all you do is plug in the value for Y that you got, and plug it into any variable, then you solve for X.

2x+5=(whatever number you got for the Y value)

These tutorials are very logical for a lot of people because they explain how things work, then they show and tell you typical situations. if you subsituted, 3x would equal 4and a half y so then 3 and a half y equals 10...divide 10 by 3 and a half y but when you do stuff like that, your probably gonna get it wrong. theres probably a different method that he's supposed to know to solve this lol
