Im so happy you made this video! I have a 2 year old blue nose named Kila, shes sweet, kind, gentle & happy. When we walk down the street, people back up or are worried she could bite. She looooooves human praise more then food, loves kitties and is terrified of bugs. Does that sound like a terrible dog to you! I recieved a phone call that there was a mother boxer abd some puppies living under an old abandoned house, so I went to see if I could help....it was a pitbull and 8 pups! Me and my 12 yr old son crawled under the house and rescued all the pups...mom was scared so I set a humane trap and hopefully I catch her today! So I now have 8 gorgeous pit pups to find wonderful homes for!!! :))
Im a K9 trainer for police dogs, and ive raised Dobermans for 15 yrs! About 6 yrs ago, I "stole" a fem pit that was tied to a bumper of a truck, covered in dried blood and scars from head to toe....she had been in a fight obviously. I would have GLADLY taken a charge for her. It took her about a month to trust me, I cleaned up her wounds, put about 45 lbs on her..(everyone thought I was an idiot), but as of today..Scar is living in a wonderful home with 3 children, and another rescued pitt! She
@bluizz81 Hi, you did the right thing, im 47 years old, when i was 17 i went to buy what thought was going to be an English Bullterrier, when I got to the guys house he had two Staffordshires, in well banged up condition, they were not what i wanted but i pitied them and bought the both, one was less than half the weight he should have been, again it took a while to bring them back to good health but they impressed me so much the dog in my profile pic is what i have now 30 years later.

Every Pit Bull I have ever met are wonderful dogs. They are Absolutely wonderful and most loving, a home for the disabled that I worked for, had a pit bull that greeted each and every resident, total of 14, with a kiss every morning and watched over them like a mother hen throughout the entire day!!!
I believe there is a special place in hell for the human(?) beings who abuse these and any of God's creatures & a special place in heaven for all abandoned, mistreated & abused animals. If I'm fortunate enough to make it to heaven, I expect to be reunited with all my animals & be able to communicate with them with complete & total understanding. THAT is my idea of heaven.

I used to be scared of pitbulls/american staffordshire terriers. However, since reading up on them, and getting to meet some, I totally agree that it's not the breed that's the problem. It's the people who mistreat them....anyone who thinks these loving animals should be eradicated really need to do their homework and also should meet some. Okay I'll judge WHAT I know. This breed are killers, one of them put my dog in the hospital for 10 days ata a cost of over 2 THOUSAND dollars. We have had three others attempt to attack him with absolutely NO provocation for him. From where I stand, there is no good reason for this breed to exist.

I am also a Pitbull owner and absolutely love the breed.. HOWEVER, unless you get a Pit from a very reputable breeder, there is a high chance that regardless of how much love you give your dog, your dog will be highly dog-agressive. That being said, Pitbulls are not necesarily for everyone, and they come with a certain amount of responsibility.

Generations of Pitbulls have come and gone... been around since WWI at least... all without incident! All of a sudden in this generation they are inherently vicious? How does that make sense? I'm old enough to remember when German Shepherds were the big, bad dogs, then it was the Doberman Pincher... People shape the world, not dogs... yet innocent dogs are blamed and suffer cruel consequences... how does that make sense?

Its a great video; the message is LONG overdue. The way (any dog) a pit becomes depends on the human who raises or treats him/her. People need to judge the deeds of the human - not the dog. Just as some children are taught to be racist (they are not born that way),dogs do what they are trained to do; they have to be carefully taught. So true! I rescued my pit from the SPCA when she was about 1 1/2, she's still got the scars from when they used her as a practice dog in the ring, but they couldn't break her loving spirit! She's working to change people's attitudes everyday & has turned my entire family into pit bull advocates!! Worst guard dog ever but I wouldn't want it any other way :)

Pitbulls are amazing. i had a Red nosed Pitbull, grey in colour, and his name was Bayne. Unfortunately he passed away last summer. He got hit by a car and died instantly. He was the most loyal and kind dog you would ever meet. He would never hurt a soul. i hate how people have put such a big stereotype on Pitbulls. Thank you! It's about time I found someone who wishes to exploit these dogs for their true nature. I have 1 myself and Kyuzo is everything to me. I don't have any kids so I spend all my time with him cuz that's my boy. I know it sounds cheesy but he chose me just as much as I chose him quite literally. I wish they knew it's not the breed that needs to be punished it's the people that contribute to such unfortunate situations. Pit bulls are the best dogs ever and I will never own any other dog. Did you know pits were actually once touted as the perfect family dog? And then stupid humans got hold of them and turned them into what most think of pits today. It won't let me post a link, but google "the cruelest trick ever played on a breed of dog," it's a pretty interesting read.

@Tolatys...yw! The craziest thing happened yest after I posted on this video! I recieved a phone call that there was a mother boxer abd some puppies living under an old abandoned house, so I went to see if I could help....it was a pitbull and 8 pups! Me and my 12 yr old son crawled under the house and rescued all the pups...mom was scared so I set a humane trap and hopefully I catch her today! So I now have 8 gorgeous pit pups to find wonderful homes for!!! :))

Im a K9 trainer for police dogs, and ive raised Dobermans for 15 yrs! About 6 yrs ago, I "stole" a fem pit that was tied to a bumper of a truck, covered in dried blood and scars from head to toe....she had been in a fight obviously. I would have GLADLY taken a charge for her. It took her about a month to trust me, I cleaned up her wounds, put about 45 lbs on her..(everyone thought I was an idiot), but as of today..Scar is living in a wonderful home with 3 children, and another rescued pitt! She

@bluizz81 Hi, you did the right thing, im 47 years old, when i was 17 i went to buy what thought was going to be an English Bullterrier, when I got to the guys house he had two Staffordshires, in well banged up condition, they were not what i wanted but i pitied them and bought the both, one was less than half the weight he should have been, again it took a while to bring them back to good health but they impressed me so much the dog in my profile pic is what i have now 30 years later.

They are Absolutely wonderful and most loving, a home for the disabled that I worked for, had a pit bull that greeted each and every resident, total of 14, with a kiss every morning and watched over them like a mother hen throughout the entire day!!!

Thanks for making this. I've known several pit bulls and they are as sweet, affectionate, and loyal as any dog I've known, and more so than most people. There are no bad dogs or breeds until vicious psycho people twist a dogs wish to please its master so that poor dog is beaten and terrified into becoming a tool of the master's own violent evil.

This video, like so many others, brought tears to my eyes. I have been a lover of the "bully breed" for almost 15 years. It all started with a little 8week old brindle female named Sammi & snowballed from there. I have always had @ least 1 "bully" in my house & love every single minute of it! People who don't know the breed need to quit buying into the misconception that 'all pitbulls are viscious killers'. If raised with love & respect, they will give love & respect in return.

I used to be scared of pitbulls/american staffordshire terriers. However, since reading up on them, and getting to meet some, I totally agree that it's not the breed that's the problem. It's the people who mistreat them....anyone who thinks these loving animals should be eradicated really need to do their homework and also should meet some. Maybe, then, they will change their view....then, of course, maybe not! Sad :-(

This breed is unpredictable. They were bred to fight and attack and kill and that is what they do best. I say ban the breed from ownership because it is a wild animal. You should have to have a permit to own one and even then, you should be held 200% responsible if there is an accident. You're playing with fire if you own one of these wild dogs.

Okay I'll judge WHAT I know. This breed are killers, one of them put my dog in the hospital for 10 days ata a cost of over 2 THOUSAND dollars. We have had three others attempt to attack him with absolutely NO provocation for him. From where I stand, there is no good reason for this breed to exist.

I am also a Pitbull owner and absolutely love the breed.. HOWEVER, unless you get a Pit from a very reputable breeder, there is a high chance that regardless of how much love you give your dog, your dog will be highly dog-agressive. That being said, Pitbulls are not necesarily for everyone, and they come with a certain amount of responsibility.

Generations of Pitbulls have come and gone... been around since WWI at least... all without incident! All of a sudden in this generation they are inherently vicious? How does that make sense? I'm old enough to remember when German Shepherds were the big, bad dogs, then it was the Doberman Pincher... Its a great video; the message is LONG overdue. The way (any dog) a pit becomes depends on the human who raises or treats him/her. People need to judge the deeds of the human - not the dog. Just as some children are taught to be racist (they are not born that way),dogs do what they are trained to do; they have to be carefully taught. Recall the panic caused by the media...people rushed to euthanize their pits (any other "unsuitable" dogs). "IGNORANCE IS THE MOST VIOLENT ELEMENT IN SOCIETY".

I have a pit myself, Buddy Christ, my first, a rescue we found famished in a parking lot outside of a movie theater. He's been in our lives 4 years now and is a favorite of our vets. So true! I rescued my pit from the SPCA when she was about 1 1/2, she's still got the scars from when they used her as a practice dog in the ring, but they couldn't break her loving spirit! She's working to change people's attitudes everyday & has turned my entire family into pit bull advocates!! Worst guard dog ever but I wouldn't want it any other way :)

Pitbulls are amazing. i had a Red nosed Pitbull, grey in colour, and his name was Bayne. Unfortunately he passed away last summer. He got hit by a car and died instantly. He was the most loyal and kind dog you would ever meet. He would never hurt a soul. i hate how people have put such a big stereotype on Pitbulls. I have a pitbull mix and when I tell my friends about him they give me a look like, I'm-not-coming-to-your-house-anytime-soon look. I'm like, I bet he's better than your prissy ass chiuahuia. My dog is the goofiest pup on the planet. Stereotypers are bitches.

This video brought me to tears.
I was not a fan of pitbulls. If I ever saw one I would be scared shitless. All because of their reputation. They can look really scary.
Until I bought one. Pudge the Pitbull. He's the sweetest dog in the world. Wouldn't hurt a fly. He's been around babies, kids, ferrets, toy poodles, yorkies, cats, and he just wanted to become friends. Never did anything but wag his tail.
