When I first did this level and it was the part with Tails, I could not do it as I kept on getting shot but I found out if you fly over the enemies about three or four times and drop the bomb at the right time they blow up, I was really pissed with it but oh well.

I use DeSuME to record, and that's fairly smooth.

You have to have a decent computer for anything at all to run smoothly, though.

Use bounce attack after you homing attack.

Then the spheres don't get in the way. There's a couple of cheat- I mean... tricks, to beating this level. Like using the purple gem to completely bypass the stupid ball through the lasers section.
