No wine and no dancing. I suppose I can respect that, though I think that both are fine according to the Bible. Jesus definitely did turn the water into wine - and good wine. The problem is with drunkedness and sensual dancing. I mean, look at worship in African churches, or even some churches in the States - people are dancing during worship, relishing the joy of the Lord. I plan to swing dance at my wedding.

@HannahLikesGlitter Fermentation. The Passover was celebrated in the spring and grapes grow in the summer, so it's impossible that it would have been just grape juice - they had no way to preserve it without letting it ferment.

They talked about their hair in one of the episodes and said they grow their hair out and that they do at home perms to save money. So I think they have to grow their hair out and the girls just do the perm because it's something to do, but I'm not sure.

@guslincoln Actually in Hebrew wine and grape juice are said in the same word. They translated by wine in the English version, but we can't really know if it was alcoholic grape juice or simple grape juice. I personally thing its the simple grape juice because the bible advices us not to drink alcohol.
