While I love Mariah and she's the superstar, which is fine. In certain terms, it doesn't make her better because of her status. Some artist just have that instant timeless classic that can't be touched. And this is one of them. Mariah's voice is great while bigger and stronger, this song wasn't fit for Mariah's voice. It was too big. Brenda executed this perfectly. It was taylor made for her. Which is why Mimi was back up and not lead.
