Gary now work as a Gov. in WASHINGTON about ONE MILE from the home where his grandfather worked as a servant for a family.
For the same reason as Irish or Italian Americans, and even the Latinos. Some people take deep pride in their ancestry. Besides, I believe this report was for CNN's Asian Business Program.
Also, I know you made this comment a year ago, but did you know about the new govenor of Louisiana is Indian American.

Why does he have to be associated to Asia? He's an American and that's how we should view him.
