i had the pleasure of flying on SIA many times during a circle asia trip that i took a couple year back. SIA offers undoubtably one of the top notch economy products flying. when i booked all my flight segments beforehand, i got so close to the max 39K air miles that the booking agent gave me all pre-assigned exit rows! what a rare treat that was given that some of my segments were up to 12 hrs long. kudos to SIA.

@fennie2578- I was only telling my personal experience with KAL. Nothing personal. But this is the best way , and perhaps, the only way to advice other passengers so that they will get an idea on which airline not to fly with. Like a consumer thing report. I didn't have any issues with the ground crews, and flight attendants on JAL, Cathay, Air Canada, PAL, Westjet, Horizon, just to name a few. But that was an actual experience and I just thought of sharing it with the world. Keep flying....

I flew Asiana on my first flight to Asia (Seoul, Korea). It was rough. The plane was so cramped I didnt get to stretch my legs much. The worst part was sometimes the flight attendants seemed to have problems with thinking outside of the box. On my return flight I desperately needed the restroom and had been waiting for an over an hour due to turbulence. The FA wouldnt let me go until other passagers started yelling at her for being unreasonable. It was ridiculous!

Okay... so I've heard that many Air Lines which are indeed very good, such as Emirates, Air Canada, V Australia, Air New Zealand, British Airways & heaps more, and they were missed out in this "Top Airline" list. Well this is just one person's opinion. Everyone has their own opinions on which Airline is great and which is crap. In my opinion I think any Airline is great, it just all depends if the staff are having a good day and that the passenger itself, is just as well enjoying his/her moments

Only Emirates would squeeze 10 Abreast (3x4x3) in Economy on their B777 -200 -300

They also won't give foreigners Kimchi in the lunches because it is "too spicy" for non-Koreans apparently, even though I've been eating the stuff for years.

Top five or not, if you are back in Tourist/Economy the airline figures you for little more than cattle.
