Bought the kit for 53K. Took 3.5 years to finish and now have about 105K in it. It would probably sell for about 75K in todays market. Guess I won't be selling anytime soon. If I can ever get off my bu.., I will do a start up video! Thanks for your comments.
please tell me this guy is not the pilot for this helicopter?? He sounds like he doesn't even know what he is talking about. "trim is electronically controlled by the switch on the.... whatever the hell you call it." haha uhhh its called a cyclic.
Gosh, I guess I missed the helicopter you built and won Grand Champion at OSH! Isn't it easy to criticise! And yes, I've been a pilot since 1965, commercial, instrument, flight instructor, ground instructor and have retired from the F.A.A. after 38 years of service. Sorry I don't stack up to your expectations.
I apologize, i did not mean for my comment to sound so arrogant and Criticizing. Actually i meant it as a joke. It just sounded funny that a pilot would be calling the cyclic, "the stick thingy" I do apologize though, i read my comment again and it did sound like i was a total jackass. Anyhow thanks for the videos, there quite interesting and informative. and i love this helicopter, i really wish i had one. Cheers.
Thank you for such an informative video. Would you elaborate on the maintenance cost?
