The Renault garage are charging me £140 to change one rear wheel bearing, does this sound over the top?

How would a remap change gear ratios anyway?!

It doesn't change the ratios, it raises the limiter by 1,000 rpm which is why It can hang on to each gear for longer.

not chipped mine standard does 40 in 1st an 73 in 2nd

Probably a ph1 then or at least a ph1 gearbox.

Defo remapped or grp n remap on this car 42 in 1st gear, 68 in 2nd! thats defo wizzin round to 7800rpm!

cool what mods you done? definatly chipped looking at it seems to get a lot out the gears, unless tacho is a little out because of mileage.
