Nice presentation, full explanation, smooth video, good lighting, large text, and excellent instructions. Nice long video, we have it down. Got it. Thanks for all the hard work making this video LMAO
I just came across your pickled egg video. I have a few questions that you might be able to answer for me if you will. I am originally from the South but live in Mn. now. I can not find what we southerners call pink pickled eggs here. To be honest, I can't stand white pickled eggs. Are the pink pickled eggs done with apple cider vinegar instead of white vinegar? There is a difference in taste and I don't have a clue where to start. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx!

If you use beet juice instead of water you'll end up with nice pinkish red eggs.

You use vinegar for pickling, not water.

Most recipes I've used call for a mix of water and vinegar.

That is to save money, good pickled eggs are made with Malt vinegar and no water.

These were made with red wine vinegar but they turned out too tart. IMO the best vinegar to use is malt vinegar.

@alphaursus use a couple beet slices to add color and southern flavor, thats how my mom made em.

@alphaursus You just add beet juice right out of the can to your brine. instead of most of the water.

you always dilute the vinegar never use it straight, I've never seen a popular recipe using 100% vinegar, thats way too strong.
