They are not playing tag... it looks like the dog is playing "herd the baby!" Which is not a safe game to play when the baby gets older and decides "i want to move around freely", but since you're letting your dog herd your baby and you wont want that in the future you're just going to end up confusing it because you're letting it herd now as "play"

I am so sorry, but I have to make a comment on a comment about table corners. You have got to be kidding me? What era did you grow up in? When I was a kid there wasn't child proofing etc. No knee pads or bike helmuts or anything else. Hell ya put a 900lb TV on a Tv tray. @Vladimir0538 Depends on the cat. The difference is more tolerance level. Some dogs can tolerate/don't mind a kid yanking on its ears, fur, or tail. Some dogs do. The same goes with cats. Most cats won't deal with little kids pulling at them; therefore, they do better with older children that have been taught and understand how to handle animals.
