I'm going to dictate this entire monologue and post it on the fridge and make sure I read it every morning. I believe anyone can follow these words of wisdom, regardless of your background.
I like when Adam says: "Religion may not be perfect, but it a well built boat that can stay balanced and carry you to the other shore." I actually drove past a church today and in front of the church was a sign that read "you need this ship!" Haha go figure! and yes, Ralph Fiennes is a genius of an actor.
80% of all anti-semites have most likely never even seen or met a jew
Adolf Hitler: "But it CANT be my fault that im not gifted in art...I must blame SOMEONE for this...yes, the JEWS..its not my fault that im a failure...ITS THE JEWS!"
I agree so much. As a Jew, whose ancestry (much of which was destroyed and/or lost during the Holocaust) is rooted in Europe, I connected to this movie so much. The ending really hit home for me especially.
Ignatz was my favorite character. Besides his love life, he was an exceptional person in my opinion. He represents the love of order and stability so well. Plus he doesn't forget his heritage (ex. when he tears his clothes in mourning for his father).

The music played at the beginning and end of this (and throughout the movie) is the Fantasy in f minor for piano 4 -hands by Franz Schubert.

I just saw this movie recently. It should be more popular. This was an awesome scene. Thanks for posting.

I absolutely love this speech, if one could live by following exact rules these would be the ones I would follow.
Thanks for posting, having posted such an excerpt is a complement in itself.

Hard to believe that this actor also played a sadistic Nazi in "Schindler's List"

If you try to google with name of the composer, "Maurice Jarre" and the title of the movie "Sunshine" you might find something.
