My parents bought a CBS Colecovision console when I was a kid, with Donkey Kong. We had great games (Getaway to Apshai, Frenzy, Super Cobra, Tutankham and more), but sadly not this game. My nephew for some reason killed the console one summer. Damn that dude. Gladly I can play all these games in the emulator hehe..I think this version of Burger King has the best looking hamburgers as you can almost taste them..
This is the prototype version of BurgerTime developed by Mattel for ColecoVision, BTW. The actual Coleco-released version has slightly different graphics and four skill levels for one or two players. Anyway, it's one of the games I always wanted to own for my ColecoVision.
@farmhandfilms The ColecoVision was a great machine, it blew away the all the other game consoles of its day. It's a real shame it didn't survive for very long after the 1983 crash.
I'm hungry......

I like the Intelivision version better. Great game but I think the music gets a little annoying quickly.

@wutzernutzer Pretty much *every* NES game is hard on the hands! I had a bad case of "Nintendo thumb" when I was a kid. :)

This comment has received too many negative votes show
this guy playing sucks at burger time. You shouldn't have to use pepper for like the first four or five levels.

Sorry, what I'm trying to do is show the most play mechanics I can in the least amount of time.

@Umma6umma good cover for sucking, but thanks for posting this man. I loved this game and wish I had it right now.

Iteresting info, was wondering about the date 1983 because Burger Time on the ColecoVision is from 1984

ColecoVision simply owned. Only thing bad about it was the weird mushroom controls.
I spent hours playing this cart. But Spy Hunter and Temple of Apshai were the best.

I'm glad to see colecovision getting it's props, it seemed everyone else had atari, and damn, it made atari look cheap.
