  • @gibsonjr11 It's going great so far, solid as a rock :)

  • @AussieMark909 is the knife full tang?

  • @acrocanthosaurus4 The tang is not exposed at the rear but the lanyard hole tube does go through it as far as I know.

  • @AussieMark909 as far as you know,,,,,,but why cant I find a for sure answer on this, its drivin me nuts.

  • Not that I'm one of those "attention getters" but, thumbs up for all you lefty knife/gun/adventuring enthusiasts! Great review by the way.

P.S. Southpaw, if you didn't already know, means left-handed.

  • @Southpaw13123 Oh I know what it means my fellow non-conformist. Thanks for stopping by.

  • @Southpaw13123 Hell yeah lefty's are rare these days! :D

  • I'm mad that they semi-bladed the top... I hope that doesnt fuck with splitting wood.

  • Thanks for the review. I baton with mine on occasion, does really well. I pair it with a Becker BK2 on outings.

  • @ODVenture Thats a great combo, I love my BK2. Thanks for watching.

  • @ODVenture im actually watching this video for that purpose haha my bk2 came in the mail today.

  • does the blade ever move around in the handle?

  • @fetus2genius1 Not on the one I have.

  • Nice review

  • you should wrap electric tape around the shelth opener thingy's "sry i forgot the word"

It furrs the leather when you take it in and out.

i Bought it for full full retail price 4 years ago.

  • Hi BBDotCom, thanks for the comment and the video response. These things are a very good blade to have. Cheers!

  • I tried batoning some dried firewood and 2x6's with mine and it worked quite well. I thought that the somewhat thin false edge might break the "baton" but I had no trouble. Personally I would rather have this one than the Cold Steel (if I could only have one that is), the Cold Steel is half the price, but also half as thick. Fortunately they are both reasonably priced so most people can afford both.

  • I can't make up my mind between this the cold steel ot the on ontario. bugger it i'll get all 3.lol

  • @TheAustralianBloke A perfectly sensible decision. Hell, by a couple of each and strap 'em on. You can be Edward Kukri Hands :)

  • Nice Kukri.

    Stay safe buddy.

  • thats weird. my ontario kukri knife, not a machete is lighter still then this and even then cold steel kukri machete. and its bigger then this kabar. if i remember right ontario is around 18oz. unless you down there have different ounces then my scale shows lol very nice review mate

  • @gavkoo Thanks for pointing that out gavkoo. I got myself all tangled up on this when doing the vid. Just checked it and I messed up on the ounces, probably since we don't use that system here. The correct info is; Knife 21oz/592g. Knife and sheath 26.2oz/744g. I'll add this to the video information.

  • @AussieMark909 you did top notch reviews so far. Dont worry about details like that. I was juat saying that how weird it is that ontario is so light, thickest. Must be the full flat ground. Cheers

  • @gavkoo It's all good mate, I want the information to be as accurate as possible so you've helped me out. Take care.

  • Kabar makes great knives.I have not tried the Kukri yet,but I see it would be a good purchase.Great video. Thanks

  • @unomas58 Yeah Kabar are great products and I love the value. Thanks for watching.

  • Great review man!

  • @CutleryNovice Thanks, I'm finding it a bit easier now that I've done a few. My goal is to do one without any mistakes :) Thanks for watching CN.
