this movie has nothing on the first storm rider!! Graphics in the new one are at most awesome but the storyline is wack!!1st half and 2nd half are like two seperate films really bad!! plus the use of slow motion capture is overused to me in the new one! can anyone else relate to this??

But as you have said so yourself, this is merely a trailer. And I would dare say a bunch of ideas in this world are similar one way or another.

There are a bunch of Hollywood movies that stole the style of a bunch of Asian movies as well.

Just learn to stop linking the trailer to the main movie of its own and thinking the whole movie is a ripoff just because of a single trailer.

For all the people who keep commenting on 300 and how long it came out or when it came out, that doesn't matter. The Storm Riders 2 was supposed/directed to be given a different feeling than Storm Riders 1 the director even said himself he wanted to give it off the same feeling as the Film 300 so dont hate . It still has mad CGI and its gonna be sick.

The first film, Stormriders, was the first Asian film to use CGI extensively, and as terence267 points out, that was over 10 years ago. The CG that you see here is just an extension of what went on in the first film. Just because you see a lot of archers in the scene, don't automatically assume that it's a rip off.

actually those ninja character look like that in the comic book. They even have the deformed faces underneath but the thing is the comicbook came out WAY before 300 did. If anything 300 may have bit that idea from stromriders. The comic that is.
