I have a cousin who dances EXACTLY like Billy Francis. He does it at all of our family events, ALWAYS on impulse. He'll just break out dancing. I remember he did the dance at my wedding reception in 2005, and he had the whole place roaring with laughter. Including me. I agree - though I was mostly unfamiliar with them until a year or so ago, they are fun to watch, and very talented. I have a DVD that was recorded in the early seventies in a TV studio, and I got my money's worth after song 1. Don't let the hair and schtick throw you off.

@athole1954 In the early '70's I played in a band that had really good equipment. Consequently, we were frequently hired to "open" for bands/acts that travelled with minimal equipment; we did the first hour and the headliner act would do the second hour using our stuff. One of those was the Medicine Show. In my experience, they collectively downed a quart of Cuervo before the show. Much to my teenaged amazement, it in no way negatively affected their performance. They were real pros.
