That's true, sort of. It wasn't exactly a mousebite per say, it was what went along w/ the mousebite. The mousebite (one of the mice that Jim Reardon had in his lab) contained the "Dreaming Death" virus (or the mouse was infected w/ the virus) & that virus was what killed Lesley Anne Andrews (she would end up marrying Warren Andrews, not Floyd Parker before her death) in May 1984.
Of Ross and Amanda (or at least this version, played by the original Amanda -- Kathleen Cullen) would end up being the couple that never would be, mainly because Cullen and by extension Amanda would leave just four months after this scene (May 1983 -- August 1983).
Actually Kathleen Cullen did come back to reprise the character, once -- in 1987. (I think there was a brief resolution aside between Ross & Amanda at that time -- it wasn't a full scene -- where Ross & Amanda realized it was probably for the best that they hadn't gotten together).
No not Hope. But I'm certain that Tom O'Rourke came back for a day in 1987 as Justin Marler. (I know I remember a visit by Justin. Both Amanda & Justin gave Philip some advice when they returned, although Amanda had a couple of more scenes w/ Ross. I think Amanda & Justin came back for Philip & Chelsea Reardon's engagement -- although there was never a marriage.) The first adult Alan-Michael (Carl-Tye Evans) came to Springfield in July 1987, but not with Hope.
Was Lesley Ann the one who was killed by a mouse bite?

Then she came back years later, played by Toby Posner, acting like a completely different character.

Thanks. I heard about that. I think Hope also came back for a visit at this time didn't she? I wish those clips were available.
