Indeed, it was an entertaining movie, although I would place it (speaking of the quality of the plot/ acting/ effects) between the original Ginger Snaps and Unleashed. I yet must recognize that the girls looked fantastic in The Beginning, absolutely fabulous, the plot was almost excellent (a trustworthy explanation of the facts in GS1)... 5 stars, excellent job as always, KatharineLover!

this is a good movie i like the idea of the werewolves attacking that small fort/village thing but the thing that bothers me is if they have so much trouble with the wrewolves when they have the fort how did they build it in the first place because they would have had no protection i think they would all have been torn to shreds before they managed to get it up :P its still a great film though
I think the idea is lycanthropy was brought to Canada along with the European settlers - maybe it hadn't infected many people when the fort was being built.

them using the same girls makes it better (its like going back to their on family line. they look like their great mothers. the curse follows them) in the 2nd movie the werewolf wanted to mate with B. no the w.wolf line is not broken, nothing can end it. it goes on and on. like humans. we grow old. we give birth, we die. same thing with the w.wolves. it's never ending till someone says it does.
Ok, i figured this out after watching all of the movies. When you listen to the very beggining, they are talking about the legend of the black and red which are the two girls,and how the plague will ether be overcome or grow stronger. Since this is 200 years before the first movie, this is the original two girls who carry it through to ginger and bridget in the first ginger snaps movie. This is the very beginning of the curse

This was the first of the movies I watched. I knew it was a prequel, but I watched it anyway. It was on sci-fi (which does kinda suck at times) so I didn't know what to make of it whether it was a real movie or not. I thought at firt it was just them doing they're typical thing, and wasn't able to see the girls truely shine compared to GS1, but I had fun. I then checked out the original and sequel here and have been hooked on these movies and these girls ever since! Thanks Katharinelover4life!
it a prequeal, this is their story from their past life, and how in some cosmic way, what happened in Ginger snaps 1 was predetermined, weird I know, but I love it
This didn't NEED to be made, but I still loved it. It's fun to see these girls do they're thing, just saying some of the other actors aren't as good as the ones in the original. I love this series no matter what though! Poor Brendan Fletcher always gets killed in these movies though, and he and Katherine BOTH died in Freddy vs Jason.
Also i liked the 2nd one. Dont see why people are hating on it so much. It followed the series perfectly and Ghost was just a great character all around.
I hope they make a 4th movie. The 2nd one left a huge opening with Bridgette being locked in the cellar by Ghost so easily could keep going. Im not quite understanding this one in the series since it supposedly took place 200 years before the original. Someone did explain it as being their ancestors and that both Ginger and Bridgette are doomed to always become werewolves but that doesnt make sense since they have to be bitten to become werewolves. They arent reincarnated so im lost on this one

Ok, i figured this out after watching all of the movies. When you listen to the very beggining, they are talking about the legend of the black and red which are the two girls,and how the plague will ether be overcome or grow stronger. Since this is 200 years before the first movie, this is the original two girls who carry it through to ginger and bridget in the first ginger snaps movie. This is the very beginning of the curse

This was the first of the movies I watched. I knew it was a prequel, but I watched it anyway. It was on sci-fi (which does kinda suck at times) so I didn't know what to make of it whether it was a real movie or not. I thought at firt it was just them doing they're typical thing, and wasn't able to see the girls truely shine compared to GS1, but I had fun. I then checked out the original and sequel here and have been hooked on these movies and these girls ever since! Thanks Katharinelover4life!

This didn't NEED to be made, but I still loved it. It's fun to see these girls do they're thing, just saying some of the other actors aren't as good as the ones in the original. I love this series no matter what though! Poor Brendan Fletcher always gets killed in these movies though, and he and Katherine BOTH died in Freddy vs Jason.

I hope they make a 4th movie. The 2nd one left a huge opening with Bridgette being locked in the cellar by Ghost so easily could keep going. Im not quite understanding this one in the series since it supposedly took place 200 years before the original. Someone did explain it as being their ancestors and that both Ginger and Bridgette are doomed to always become werewolves but that doesnt make sense since they have to be bitten to become werewolves. They arent reincarnated so im lost on this one
