Derailroaded is a wonderful documentary on a simple and very likable man. I was moved to tears at the end when he visits his dying aunt. She never forsaked him because of his illness and respected him as an artist.

I wanted to hear this recording because of it was used in the film "Medium Cool". Cohen v Paramount Pictures Corp. questioned whether the license to use "Merry Go Round" in the film included the later distribution on video. The court decided it did not. Future Technology Clauses.
If you watch Medium Cool today, I believe you will hear someone whistling "Sweet Georgia Brown" instead of this.

I wanted to hear this recording because of it was used in the film "Medium Cool". Cohen v Paramount Pictures Corp. questioned whether the license to use "Merry Go Round" in the film included the later distribution on video. The court decided it did not. Future Technology Clauses.
If you watch Medium Cool today, I believe you will hear someone whistling "Sweet Georgia Brown" instead of this.

He's writing songs, structuring them like classic pop songs, with verses, choruses, bridges and instrumental sections...it takes...some stretching of the mind to realize the guy did have actual TALENT.
