As a Canadian, I found it annoying that Canada was portrayed as evil just because of the Quebecers (who I hated at the time) and I didn`t like how Japan was portrayed as evil as well just because of Yokozuna and Mr Fuji. Still, the WWF tapped into the Anti-Japanese sentiment that Americans were feeling at that time quite well with Yokozuna even if Americans were acting idiotic with it just because their products couldn`t compete with Japanese products....
This is the true golden years of wrestling. This is the WWF I remember, not the additude era and that lame PG bullshit they have now. This was when I loved to watch wrestling, waking up every saturday morning to watch WWF Mania/Livewire and WWF Superstars.
Yokozuna(Rodney Anoia) wasn't booked at the time to talk because he was a "Japanese" sumo champion who only spoke broken English, but he did get the point across effectively.
This team is the best I have ever seen. They should have kept this team for at least a few ppvs. Borga and Rougeae are crazy. Crush is a maniac too. I miss these days.
@Goukimessatsu2 Yes,he made Yokozuna, the Heavenly Bodies, and Mantaur look better than they actually were.Harvey Wippleman would have buried them all to a slow death.
@Goukimessatsu2 I was thinking more of Well Dunn,Adam Bomb, and Big Bully Busick.Sid Justice when he turned heel was Harvey Wippleman's only main-eventer that he managed in WWF.

The saddest part is; that after that Crush later replaced Pierre the Quebeccer, three of the four people on that team have now passed away:
Yokozuna, Crush and now the untimely death of Ludvig Borga.Only Jacques from that team is still with us.

@AgentEJA The Johnny Polo gimmick was a joke,to put it mildly. He did serve his purpose as an annoying mouthpiece for the Quebecers, however.
