They broke up because a lot of financial issues came up. The record label didn't want to spend more money on them, because they didn't get as much of a good feedback as the label thought. They all went their separate ways. Kevin is on Glee, Travis is solo, JJ is in the band One Call. And V is also solo. Their all still best friends though, and support each other on what their doing as of now. (:
