@Khimeran77 I have and it's the best game for 2010. Beautiful soundtrack ( and don't take beautiful lightly, it's one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard, video game or not). Original story, unique art style and awesome characters. GO BUY NOW! LOL

To be honest, when I first saw the trailer for both jap. and us. versions, i wanted to be the young boy because the father doesnt do it for me and i wasnt going to buy the game, but when you think about it, you only ever really look at is their backs during a game like this except for the cutscenes so why should that affect if you buy it.

@kalapariplayer How on Earth does playing as a metrosexual boy make the Japanese version superior to the NA version?Both version's story are exactly the same save for the connection each protagonist has to Yonah. The Japanese version's brother-sister connection is SO fucking cliched in JRPGs.The NA version is just more believable.I mean, I can picture a father doing everything to save his child but not a brother for his sister. Furthermore, stop griping over the fact that the father in the NA...

@kalapariplayer ...version isn't the best looking person. I think they did a great job on him. He looks like an old man beaten down by life. Not every video game character has to look like they came right off of a photoshopped Vogue magazine cover. If having good looking characters was all that was needed for a game to be considered great, then that abomination Dead or Alive Xtreme Volleyball would be pure fucking gold. Think before you say something stupid.

@JankyToe The games kinda an action/rpg. So the fighting is proper not turn based, but it is still an rpg with quests n'all. You can do stuff like farming/fishing etc to earn extra money.

this is from square enix... let's just give it a try. i will certainly buy this game, and not only for the graphics which i think they could better- but from what i saw, it looks ok... but mostly for the story of this action rpg. and if you are looking for something different in this game then you should not buy it and you should not call yourself a action rpg fan, or a square enix passionate!

This looks like Square Enix is doing another non-turn based combat rpg. I can dig this. I love RPGs but not turn based. Kingdom Hearts was awesome for a kids game. I excited to see how this turns out.

Devil May Cry was very different from GoW in terms of buttons, character development, etc.
