I went through this when I was sixteen (I am twenty-three now) - my best friend did this and I lost all of my friends, was such a tough time and I still feel about it now at times. Perfect timing. This is not only the story of my life but I am recently going through it again. I was saying the same things today to my friend today. I have been hurt by friends family and my parents. Great video!I have always prided myself on being a GREAT friend..I'm very objective & i REALLY dont judge..I believe we all have the right to be free & try/do things outside of "normalities"..My friends KNOW they can tell me ANYTHING and I'll be HONEST but have their back no matter what...I have friends that I've known since elementary school & we have NEVER fallen out or had an argument EVER :) I think it helps that our self esteems are awesome & when its not, we pump each other up :)

about 2 years ago i would say i had a "friend breakup" i thought she was my best friend only to realize how disposable i was and it really devastated me :( even when i thought we had made up she had moved on and found a new bestest and that was even more painful to watch. but i have to say that i'm much better now, i recently sent her a letter telling her how i felt about everything and it set me free of all the pain and anger I still felt

I love your positivity, I really do. And what you've said is true- lowering yourself to their standards and getting back at someone seems like a good idea, but getting on with your life and showing that you are the more mature one by not stooping so low is an even better idea.

I went through this when I was sixteen (I am twenty-three now) - my best friend did this and I lost all of my friends, was such a tough time and I still feel about it now at times. But I know from time passing that I was better off and it was never my fault which at the time I thought, which made it hurt more. This video is fantastic as if I could have seen this at that time it would of been a great help x

I'm so sorry you had an experience with betrayal - it is such a horrible thing to happen! :( I got really sick in high school and instead of supporting me, my best friends left me and formed their own group and started rumors that I was anorexic. It was such a terrible experience. I admire your positive attitude! :)

When I was 16, someone whom i thought was a friend spead a rumour that i was pregnant (In India) and that's why I quit school suddenly. I hadn't actually quit school. I came back after a month wondering why no one had called me to find no one talking to me. i had been hospitalised because of Jaundice. till now no one has spoken to me. but now i'm 22 and I don't care. but it was difficult. :-/ irony. she was the one who was pregnant and had to quit school and marry the guy all hush hush. jeez!

Perfect timing. This is not only the story of my life but I am recently going through it again. I was saying the same things today to my friend today. I have been hurt by friends family and my parents. The ones that i expect more love from has given me grief. sometimes people do not know what they do and we have to excuse them, be humble, learn from it, become stronger, and keep it moving. So some i let go and some I had to change how i communicate with them forever.

You're so lucky to have THREE really good friends, besides your boyfriend and sister, you can confide in. =) A lot of the times we have to learn the hard way. Best way to kind of go about it is to not over share your business. I currently have a "friend", or whatever you want to call it, that I thought was my TRUE friend and turned out not to be. You live and you learn =) I'm better off without her.

Great video!I have always prided myself on being a GREAT friend..I'm very objective & i REALLY dont judge..I believe we all have the right to be free & try/do things outside of "normalities"..My friends KNOW they can tell me ANYTHING and I'll be HONEST but have their back no matter what...I have friends that I've known since elementary school & we have NEVER fallen out or had an argument EVER :) I think it helps that our self esteems are awesome & when its not, we pump each other up :)
