@Hidezepickle I'm not saying Mercedes 4MATIC is better but it performs just as well as Quattro and the BMW Wdrive does two. In comparison to BMW and Benz, Audi is nothing extra special. By the way I drive a 2008 Benz S550 4matic, crazy good in the snow.

This is from the southern tip of Sweden,they never have any real snow or cold there. It´s the northern part´s of Sweden that´s cold and snowy.

You could do that with any car, it´s only 20-30 cm soft powder snow. An old Quattro from the 80´s with manual locker in the rear and torsen center differential is more competent then this car off-road.

@paintballgundown8 id does there are total differnet concepts of AWD systems! A 4-Motion (VW) is not the same to 4-Matic (MB) and theres quiet a big difference to x-Drive and 4*4! Quattro is the best of the AWD-Systems(PKW not HUMER!), u can read it in every test you find in google! In this situation all AWD-S schoult do the duty! It can actually work in deeper snow! My S4 is lowered and has a ground Clarence of less then 4 in, and it plowes the streets with ease! Quattro works very well!
