your brushes are really expensive considering they are synthetic made brushes and not a name brand and I bought some and am not impressesd, they're not great, u can find great cheaper brushes at Sigma. I also have all the Mac brushes and all the most popular Sigma brushes and some of Korens and I tell u Sigma are the best ones to buy if u can't afford Mac. Mac is also not the only brand who makes a great duo fibre brush, I love my Laura Mercier duo fibre brush more than the Mac 187.

@studpolicesexy you're so ignorant it's funny, his brushes are NOT better than Mac. I have some of his brushes and I was disappointed in the quality. I like Koren but his brushes are cheaply made, not good quality and very much too expensive for what u get. Mac brushes are not synthetic brushes and they are great quality hand made brushes, there really is no comparison, even Koren can see that, why do u think even HE uses Mac brushes instead of his own, he knows, he's just trying to make money.

Open to anyone who knows... i just realized some of my mac brushes on the very bottom say Japan and France, I got a few of them as a gift and some I bought from the store.... hope the gifts werent dupes how disappointing...

No worries, you should be okay. Depending on the brush, some MAC brushes say France and some say Japan.

I noticed its been a while since you last did a review on any of the Coastal Scents palettes and although I know there are other reviews on it by other gurus, I would love to have your opinion on them, especially the 42 matte / shimmer and the 88 warm. Koren Great video and review. I picked it up the day the collection came out. I didn't want to miss it. 131 is a great brush and I've had no shedding. I've had some of my MAC brushes for 9 years and they are almost like new. I think this one will last just as long or longer. :)

Do not use conditioner cause you gonna get lot of buildup over time and your brushes will not perform as they normally would. Just wash your brushes with a mild babyshampoo. You'll have your brushes for years! :-)

I have been looking for a good synthetic line of brushes and I have been eyeing yours. Now, you mentioned that your brushes are synthetic; however I have heard that they have silk fibers in them. Silk is natural (and more importantly I'm allergic.) So are they completely synthetic?

nope - they are complete synthetic, with the exception of the Duo-Fiber Kabuki. I used to have silk, but I only carried and sold 1 dozen, then i decided to do 100% synthetic.

i like my 131 soo much i and i found that i didn't have any shedding when i deep cleaned it :) i fing that it is dense but it doesn't pick up too much colur and is goood for foundation becaus eit gets into the nooks and crannies:) i really would reccomend it :) the enkore makeup one is probably nice to but i would rather spend $40 on a brush then buy one for less then not being completely satisfied then spending money on the more expensive one but that's just my oppinion :)

so in order to stop MAC brushes from shedding i need to condition them? Is there a special conditioner for brushes or is hair reg conditioner do?? Thanks soo much this has been a problem with my mac brushes!!!!!!!!!!!

i don't think conditioner will prevent shedding, but it does prevent breakage. i'm sure make up companies sell special brush care products, but hair conditioner is a good alternative if you're on a budget.

I believe EnKore even has a video to make your own blush cleanser at home, and hair conditioner is one of the ingredients.
