It has got to be the stripes. I have a naughty cat too and she is stripy. We have a black cat who is demure and obedient, but the stripy one will knock stuff off a desk or table and then look at you and meow, as if to say, "Yeah, I knocked that down, what are YOU gonna do about it?"
She's too smart for her own good... but so, so adorable. <3
