"Find the speaker!" – Things are quite different in the faraway galaxy. If someone kidnapped John Boehner, no one - not even Eric Cantor - would particularly care.
I found this to be very shakespearian in both the way it was performed by the voice actors and the fact that it doesn't make sense unless you really think about it.
I wonder what those fluent in both Chinese and English make of this. I assume the humor takes on a whole new level given that extra amount of education.
@Raptoreyes It seems I'm the one you were talking about.(despite my listening skill of English is not good enough yet) But I guess I wouldn't laugh any harder than you guys, since it's the "eng" sub that is amusing :)
@MrMadtadsmith On no its much worse then Shakespeare. They took a Chinese translation of the movie and translated it back into English. What you hear is the result. Lets just say translation programs have a LONG way to go as a technology.
its worse than that, a lot of these things can only have come from dictionary translation done by people (the most obvious one is having the word "do" being replaced by fuck, as that slang exists in both English and Chinese, the problem is that certain dictionaries apparently imply that it is a much more common usage of the word "do" than it actualy is)
