Watch out for the ultra grunts wich are white, they take one shot to get it's mask off and one for the kill, and just note that every round you complete they get more heavy weapons

i find a good tactic for getting through this quickly is to try and collect all the full rod ammo as u get through the first set of rounds, and then on the last 1 or 2 rounds go up to the doors ready for when they open with the new wave of grunts, and then u can shoot through the blue sheild on the entrance to the doors and get easy overkills and killamanjaro's, or u can just use grenades if you dont want to collect the full rods. gd way to get ur multikills and grenade commendations up. try it.

guys it also helps greatly to go for the commendations (see 3:20), they boost your credz up the more you pursue them. so far i've been building up dome inspector, longshot and trigger happy etc etc. playing this game for long enough i've gone through colonel, col gr. 1 and col gr 2 in about half a week. doing as many daily challenges is helpful too no matter how tedious the challenge may be :P

No, you should use Armor Lock, as nooby as that may sound. If you get stuck by a lucky Grunt, it's all over unless you have Armor Lock equipped.

You can do this on firefight by yourself. Sign in with two controllers. Start matchmaking.  When there are people who get connected sign out with your second controller and it will kick the other two guys who were connected out.

Holdout is also another good map, just stay in the original spawn area and wait for grunts to come in. you can easily go like 100 and 1

actually you should get armorlock and stay up on that platform rather than falling down. Each grunt is worth 4CR, a headshot is worth 1CR, multikills are worth 5CR, and i don't know how much a killstreak is, but there are 120 grunts exactly in gruntapocalypse. in multiplayer, players are worth as much as a grunt. so you technically are getting credits for killing 120 players.

I like to get all sort of commendations off of this. I usually play 12 games everyday. 3 with DMR. 3 with pistol only. 3 with grenades/stickys. 3 with vehicle. I do that one in beachhead with the rocket warthog at the right side of the base.

the only reaoning for the 3000 credits is your commendations. If you play a whole round and get all headshots like I do, it only brings about 1000 credits. So commendations help a lot for credits. alternate, get headshots for your dome inspector, grenades for your grenade commendation, and so on....

Use the Drop Shield instead of Sprint, it heals your health bar so you can save the health packs for tight situations.

its not just headshots you want... you want to find the grunts in bunches and go for the multikills... also the fuel rod gun is definitely not the way to go since the max multikill you usually get out of it is 2 and you cant get the headshot bonus out of it.

stop shooting so fast with the DMR, it has recoil, so everytime u shoot, the recoil messes up ur aim, the circle in the middle of the screen ,ur aiming sight, gets bigger for everyshot, so i wud slow down the shots to make my head shots more accurate. Like in 4:03, it took forever.

@ABL36 I advise YOU to take your own advice, and read the Bungie.net website. Specifically paragraph 4 of the recent 10/08/10 weekly update done by Sketch. You'll find only those who C-H-E-A-T while playing 'pocalypse, will get the hammer. Obviously a person isn't going to be banned for playing a mode which gives out credits for even completing it anyhow. Just play the mode like you normally would folks, and you've nothing to fear. Simple as that.
